Divus Constantius I, died 306. Follis (Bronze, 26 mm, 7.00 g, 12 h), Aquileia, struck under Maxentius, 307-308. DIVO CONSTANTIO AVG Veiled head of Divus Constantius I to right. Rev. MEMORIA DIVI CONSTANTI / AQS Enclosed double door altar with lion-headed door handles, surmounted by eagle standing front, head to left and wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Drost 20d. Paolucci & Zub 79. RIC 127 corr. (obverse legend). A lovely example with excellent details. Minor edge weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
